The website is technically managed by Grifo Multimedia srl, with registered office at via Galileo Galilei 15, 70037 – Ruvo di Puglia (BA), Italy, acting as Data Processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, on the basis of a specific agreement entered into with the Controller.
1. Categories of Personal Data Processed
The personal data processed by the Controller include the following categories:
- Browsing data, such as IP addresses, log data, domain names and other parameters relating to the device, operating system and computing environment used by the user during navigation;
- Geolocation data, meaning the geographic position of the user’s device, collected exclusively upon explicit consent and used solely for the purpose of displaying nearby points of interest (POI) on the interactive map. Location data is not recorded, stored on servers, or transmitted to third parties.
2. Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis
Data is processed for the following purposes:
a) Website navigation — Browsing data is processed to ensure the correct functioning of the website. The legal basis is the Controller’s legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
b) Geolocation — The geographic position of the user’s device is processed, upon the user’s explicit consent, solely for the purpose of displaying points of interest (POI) geographically close to the user’s location on the website’s interactive map. The legal basis is the Data Subject’s consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time through browser or device settings, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
c) Technical and third-party cookies — As described in the Cookie section of this notice.
3. Recipients of Personal Data
Personal data is not disclosed to the public. The Controller reserves the right to communicate it exclusively to:
- Public authorities or supervisory bodies, only in cases provided for by applicable law (e.g. judicial authorities, the Data Protection Authority);
- Parties providing technical services necessary for the operation of the website, acting as Data Processors, including Grifo Multimedia srl;
- Professional firms or consultancy companies, within strictly necessary limits.
Data is processed and stored on servers located within the European Union.
4. Processing Methods and Retention
Processing is carried out using electronic and/or manual means, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation and data minimisation, pursuant to Art. 5 GDPR. Data is retained for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
5. Rights of the Data Subject
The Data Subject has the right to:
- Access their personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
- Request rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) or erasure (Art. 17 GDPR);
- Request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
- Object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR);
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to withdrawal;
- Lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority — Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
